We start our design process with a client meeting. At this initial stage we meet to establish the aesthetic and direction the client wishes to go. Its also important to consider the spatial layout and ensure the use of space is maximised. Where form and function collide to create the perfect space.

Our Process.

First.

Meet & Greet
Complimentary consultation, book in a phone call or Teams/zoom to establish where we can help. (FOC at our studio in Grey Lynn or Teams/zoom)

During this initial conversation, we'll define your project scope and requirements to create a tailored approach for your specific needs.

Second.

Concept Design.
Tailored spatial planning for your specific needs.
Our comprehensive moodboards showcase the 'look and feel' of each design concept, including proposed finishes and products.

These visual presentations give you a clear preview of your project's final result, helping you envision the completed space before work begins. Plans including elevations and 3d modelling where needed, refined materials and product.

Third.

FF & E Selection of Finishes
Comprehensive Interior Finishes Schedule (FF&E) delivered in easy-to-reference PDF format with detailed pricing and quotes.

Your personalised package includes specific paint colours, flooring selections (carpet, tiles, timber options), furniture recommendations, and soft furnishings— *ordering and supply optional Interior detailing and custom joinery documented to a high level of detail, working along with our trusted and experienced suppliers and fabricators to ensure a high quality finish and ease of install , we liaise with them to oversee to finished product.

Basic Interior Finishes Guide (FF&E) in PDF format. Includes essential recommendations for paint colors, flooring options, and select furniture pieces—perfect for clients seeking straightforward design direction without extensive involvement.

This package suits a complete renovation or a new build to give you an overall look/concept to follow, including key products to create a base design and cohesion throughout the home. Please note - this does not include plans, or detailed specification lists - however this can be combined with our Kitchen, Scullery + Laundry, and Bathroom fees to create a full comprehensive project design.

We offer full design and specification but can also oversee the project from start to finish. Our Kitchen Design package is a custom service. We cover all aspects from spatial planning and clever storage solutions, to the specification of all materials and finishes required to complete your perfect kitchen. Sticks + Stones will then obtain quotes for your review using our trusted and known contractors and suppliers to provide the best possible pricing.

Detailed specifications for all interior elements including paint colors, laundry and scullery finishes, fixtures, cabinetry, splashbacks, stone countertops, sinks, taps, and hardware. We provide a comprehensive Interior Finishes Schedule that serves as a reference guide for all trades throughout your project. This schedule includes itemised pricing for all quoted elements to help you manage your budget effectively. We also offer expert guidance on appliance selection when needed.

Tile layout plans, along with all documentation required for construction will Sticks + Stones will then obtain quotes for your re- view using our trusted and known contractors and suppliers to provide the best possible pricing.
