This kitchen was part of a significant renovation and extension of a 1950s timber-and-brick house in the Eastern Bays of Auckland for a family with two young teenagers.
The original kitchen was a tired, narrow, u-shaped affair that had been painted a dark grey by the owners.
The owners had seen a kitchen from our portfolio and liked it. Our brief was for curves, and they loved greeny grey tones. They trusted us to do the rest.
When we returned for the photo shoot, my clients told us this was their dream kitchen, and they couldn’t have imagined anything better. They think it’s too good for them. We think it’s just right.
